Herrie has been sewing for over 20 years. Her education includes studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and attending the London College of Fashion for a Foundation Tailoring degree. She has interned for custom tailors in New York, worked for Manuel, a western tailor in Nashville and has apprenticed in London with Thom Sweeney in Mayfair and Welsh and Jeffries on Savile Row. 

In 2012 Herrie started her own bespoke tailoring business in Nashville and in 2018 opened her own brick and mortar shop. She offered made to measure suits and shirts and continued to make unique and beautifully fitted bespoke garments.

In 2020 after a tornado destroyed her shop, she began to make ready to wear, workwear-inspired clothing and selling it through her website. She moved to Vermont in 2021. 

Herrie continues to make ready to wear clothing and also offers freelance pattern making and prototyping services. She has worked with other clothing companies and artists to execute their designs which include reversible ski jackets, linen bombers and colorful nylon structures.
