Waffle Jacket
Waffle Jacket
It’s taken us a while to get this one ready, and we’re really excited to finally be able to share it. 100% cotton cloth, dyed with natural indigo and woven in Japan by Kuroki Mills. The buttons are natural corozo, and the label is hand embroidered. This small batch of jackets was made in Nashville, Tennessee.
The cloth has some stretch to it. It’ll shrink up a bit in the wash, but stretch back to normal size after some wear. The swatch card in the last photo shows how it will fade over time. Kyle’s been wearing his jacket for a few months, and that’s what it looks like with some miles on it.
The cut is based on our favorite ‘60s military jacket— full and boxy. It’s made to be worn over anything from a t-shirt to a heavy sweater, and the weight/weave will make it comfortable indoors year round. The tightness of the sleeve closure can be adjusted.
Machine wash cold. Hang dry.
